The Best of 2008

This is my list, not yours. I'm gonna list 10 things.

10. Pregnant Man. This was one of the funniest stories ever.

9. Whisper War. The debut album from The Cab. This band is amazing, they take their R & B influences with the pop punk scene they are in and emerge it together! Brilliant! It gives eargasms to many!

8. Katy Perry. Who doesn't want Katy Perry?? I have a lesbian crush on her.

7. Licked it like a LOLLIPOP! Lil Wayne blew up this year by selling "A Milli" copies of his album in it's first week. I guess he "Got Money" to "Take out his pocket, show, then throw."

6. The Merman, Michael Phelps! He's from Baltimore, and I'm from Baltimore (basically). I'm really happy for him. "I don't care if he's half-merman! He's hot!"

5. Fast Times at Barrington High. The anticipated album from the Fueled By Ramen/Decaydance band, The Academy Is...It was a pretty nice album. I liked majority of the songs from that album and The Academy Is...has not done that for me with the previous albums.

4. Barack Obama. His name means "Blessed." Enough said, cause if I say anything else, I'll go on forever.

3. Twilight. The VERY highly anticipated movie adapted from the book written by Stephenie Meyer. And with Twilight, Rob Pattinson ♥

2. Pretty. Odd.! Panic at the Disco's follow-up to the multi-platinum album, A Fever You Can't Sweat Out. They took on more of a "Beatles" sound. And it totally worked for them. Now they are working on their third album as we speak.

NUMBER ONE!
Folie a Deux. Fall Out Boy's 5th? I think, 5th album. It includes the hits, "I Don't Care," and "What a Catch, Donnie." They have changed so much from FUCT, as you can tell from Pete's matured lyrics to Patrick's whimsical beats, to the excessive facial hair. Can't wait to see this album reach maximum success.

Happy New Year! Wonder what 2009 will bring us in Pop Culture?? Will Brendon Urie and Rihanna finally hook up?? Will the pregnant man have another child?? Will Katy give up girls after her marriage to Travis McCoy?? Will LiLo make a some-what comeback?? Will The Cab blow up??

Clandestine Industries: The Next Warhol

Clandestine Industries EST. 2004 is a clothing line by Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy. The clothes are crazy cool. I mean, look!! I want like all the hoodies. But that'd come to like $500. Oh well, I can save up. I own a couple shirts, a belt and two necklaces from here. To you at school, it's the "Bat/Butterfly" stuff. Have to get some of this for back-to-school!!

Vans Warped Tour '08: Exciting

Every year since, like forever, the Vans Warped Tour takes place. This is a tour including tons of bands. People come out and have lots of fun. Too bad I couldn't make it this year ='( But my favorite bands are on tour including Gym Class Heroes, Cobra Starship, The Academy Is..., Paramore and lots more!! Seems like lots of fun. Hopefully one day I'll make it to the Warped Tour. If you're going, have fun!! *sniffs*

Baby Borrowers: Interesting

So right now I'm sitting at home watching the amazing show, Baby Borrowers. It's a new NBC show about teens that want to have children. But once they are given a child, they soon realize that they are not ready for one. It's not their baby, older adult couples lend their babies to them. But the teens are not just raising babies. They raise toddlers, Pre-teens, Teenagers and the Elderly. I think it's an interesting project. And it makes you realize what your parents go through being parents. I give them so much praise for dealing with my sister and I. So watch the show. NBC, Wednesdays, at 8/7c!!

Nike: Electric

No way!! These are the most amazing Nike shoes I have ever laid my eyes on. Green, grey and yellow?? Craziness!! Have to get these. Even if they are expensive. Thanks to Pete Wentz (ahomeboyslife.com) for showing me these.

Harajuku Lovers: Cute!!

I love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love

these shoes. Aren't they just so awesome?? I mean, they're colorful just like Harajuku. For all that don't know, Harajuku is just Japanese clothing. You know, bright colors. They have some of these shoes at journeys.com and at the Journeys stores and on other websites. Have to get a pair of these soon. Have to!!
